These conservative activists are a new breed of patriot, and because of them the Tea Party Movement is stronger than ever….

People left that dark Friday afternoon, energized with a sense that they were not the only ones who thought something was going terribly wrong in their country. …

Tea Party People called for smaller government, fiscal responsibility, and lower taxes. They demanded folks in Washington live up to the ideals of our founders and follow the Constitution. … If there was one piece of legislation Tea Partiers felt was the poster child for what was going wrong in America, it was this onerous, liberty chilling bill.

During the Bush years, Bush was often compared to Hitler or Mussolini,. The focus of the attacks had to do with wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and angst over the supposed erosion of civil liberties due to warrantless wiretaps, among other things. There was a lot of hyperbole. Bush was a monkey, a Nazi, a [...]

President Obama, along with members of his party, are hoping this Supreme Court will uphold the new health care law based, in large part, on one central argument.  They contend, an individual’s inaction regarding his/her own health choices, can have a profoundly negative, nationwide impact.  Democrats believe the offenders must be punished.  This opens up almost [...]

By Jim Soviero President Obama’s clumsy backtracking on the issue of religious freedom has not put this explosive issue to rest. His shell game mandating insurance companies, rather than the church, pay for the pills and procedures of employees was exposed. Premiums covering contraception, sterilization and abortion-inducing drugs would still be paid by the church. [...]

Planned Parenthood

…how to interpret the Susan G Komen ‘ s reversal of its decision to halt its funding of Planned Parenthood: “Planned Parenthood tapped a well of feminist rage, and neatly demonstrated how much the country believes that women should have access to comprehensive healthcare that includes contraception, STD prevention and treatment, and yes, abortion.”

Seems to me the establishment has now crossed the Rubicon. They are willing to spend $16MM of negative attack ads against the leading Conservative challenger. Their candidate is so out of step with the Party’s activist base that they were willing to poison the electoral well with a deluge of the brand of negative ads that should NOT be used in a PRIMARY by anyone.

January 11, 2012 By James Soviero One of the most memorable gospels is the miracle of the five loaves and two fish. John 6:5-15 tells of Jesus using those meager bits of food to feed some 5,000 hungry, followers. It is a truly compelling story, and one that must resonate very powerfully with President Obama. How [...]

Mr. Obama is now applying basically that same strategy to buy off an even broader, demographic group. Say, “Hello.” to the 160 million Americans paying less into Social Security, and say, “Goodbye!” to the pensioners taking money out. The president and his party hope gullible seniors will believe just one more retirement, tall tale. Taxes on rich people will replenish their “trust fund’s” latest, stunning losses. The bet is golden-agers will continue their decade’s old habit of voting for Democrats, no matter the most recent, damning facts.

Through Occupy Wall Street, liberal elites reveal who they are deep down inside and how they would behave if they themselves were free to cast aside all societal restraint. Their unwavering support and cheerleading for the Occupiers prove that they are comfortable with some level of both anarchy and tyranny if either will bring about their impossible utopian vision for the United States of America. Many seem to be longing for a “Kent State” or “Tiananmen Square” moment to win public sympathy and spark the revolution.

Movement attempted to supplant the Tea Party … Occupy Washington never amounted to more than a few hundred people and at its peak during its first week and was nothing more than a carnival of causes, with anti-war protesters edging out those with other causes for the most attention.
