We must accept that the RINO Republicans are not our allies and have proven they are incapable of bringing us victory. … The Conservative Base preaches independence and self-reliance. The time has come for us to strictly practice that philosophy in relation to those RINOs who have betrayed us and whose weakness has once again led us into the abyss. … The time has come for us to declare our own independence from their failure to deliver. … The time is late but the time is NOW.

Mr. Obama is now applying basically that same strategy to buy off an even broader, demographic group. Say, “Hello.” to the 160 million Americans paying less into Social Security, and say, “Goodbye!” to the pensioners taking money out. The president and his party hope gullible seniors will believe just one more retirement, tall tale. Taxes on rich people will replenish their “trust fund’s” latest, stunning losses. The bet is golden-agers will continue their decade’s old habit of voting for Democrats, no matter the most recent, damning facts.
Through Occupy Wall Street, liberal elites reveal who they are deep down inside and how they would behave if they themselves were free to cast aside all societal restraint. Their unwavering support and cheerleading for the Occupiers prove that they are comfortable with some level of both anarchy and tyranny if either will bring about their impossible utopian vision for the United States of America. Many seem to be longing for a “Kent State” or “Tiananmen Square” moment to win public sympathy and spark the revolution.
There are two camps on this issue. The issue turns on whether one wants to see Islam as based on the book of the Koran and the initial Hadiths, which trained the initial consciousness of the people; or they want to see it as an historical movement that has changed over time — whereby new and more refined documents replaced the Koran as the normative standards.
…the Libertarian urges us to stop using the Government to control other people’s social liberties — that is tyranny of the majority (see Aristotle and Plato’s warnings!). We can engage in a war of persuasion. But freedom and democracy demand that we limit the government to controlling people from harming others — and not for controlling society — let people organize society freely according to economic interest and charity.
