…how to interpret the Susan G Komen ‘ s reversal of its decision to halt its funding of Planned Parenthood: “Planned Parenthood tapped a well of feminist rage, and neatly demonstrated how much the country believes that women should have access to comprehensive healthcare that includes contraception, STD prevention and treatment, and yes, abortion.”

Why Obama Is Losing the Political War By Mark Halperin Monday, Oct. 11, 2010 President Barack Obama Barack Obama is being politically crushed in a vise. From above, by elite opinion about his competence. From below, by mass anger and anxiety over unemployment. And it is too late for him to do anything about this [...]

Ayn Rand in the New Left shows Statism is equal to communism, fascism, socialism, or welfare-ism alike: they all bring people to surrender from their control to the state, their life, liberty, and pursuit of individual property and happiness. It forces all persons into a mechanized state, whereby the government creates rights and distributes justice and property to people according to the dictates of the government. But remember that as recent history has shown, see Geller and Spencer’s book The Post-American Presidency, Leftist government bows obsequiously to Union bosses and large donor contributors – which causes policy, justice, and rights not to be created to serve the votes’ best interests, consisting of many different special interests, but only the interest of one – the elite. This is exact decline that Aristotle demonstrates comes from the corruption of democracy into the tyranny of the elite, or aristocracy (see Aristotle’s Politics).

Doing so would clarify the large doubts that many Americans have about the real intentions of Muslim leaders grand desire to build a Mosque next to the buildings that members of their same historical and religious group destroyed in acts of holy war against America. Without Muslim leaders clarifying these issue thoroughly, I don’t see any rational reason why lovers of America and haters of jihad should dismiss their concerns and grave suspicion of pride for building a grand mosque next to the ruins of the war waged by leaders of their own Muslim tradition. All deep issues of the relations of the two groups need to be identified and resolved; and the Muslim public diplomats need to do it.

If you’re holding your breath, seconds can seem like hours. If you’re a political figure even the briefest of moments can come under intense scrutiny. That is especially true of our presidents. It’s just [...]

Mr. Obama’s “Serious Crisis Avoidance Management Strategy” (SCAMS)

James Soviero Who says President Obama has no policy regarding the difficult problems facing our nation?  That’s not so.  It’s just his policy  focuses on using distractions to avoid dealing with America’s most troubling issues.  Let’s call this plan the president’s “Serious Crisis Avoidance Management Strategy”, a.k.a. Obama’s SCAMS. Have an ineffectual “Stimulus Program” and [...]

The “Stewart Generation”, Not Much To Laugh About

January 6, 2013
By James Soviero
So what to call this crowd of adults born after the year 1981? Given their hyper interest in media, digital communication, and celebrities let’s classify them using the name of someone they identify with….Jon Stewart. “The Stewart Generation” would seem an excellent handle for this band of brothers and sisters. Jon’s hip, smart, brash, funny and has his own, very successful, TV show. He is also the guy, to whom many in their twenties have turned for the news.

A Way Forward: Right Principles Statement on the 2012 Election

We must accept that the RINO Republicans are not our allies and have proven they are incapable of bringing us victory. … The Conservative Base preaches independence and self-reliance. The time has come for us to strictly practice that philosophy in relation to those RINOs who have betrayed us and whose weakness has once again led us into the abyss. … The time has come for us to declare our own independence from their failure to deliver. … The time is late but the time is NOW.
